Experience / background:
Joining us a volunteer/team leader over six years ago, Paul has progressed from a hands on role within construction to a more managerial one progressing into a joint role as a Health & Safety coordinator & assistant construction manager. Due to the experience and knowledge gained over the past 6 years he has been able to demonstrate the required level of competence to offer safety advice directly to the Charities board.
What Paul brings to LHFH:
The experience he's gained whilst working for Liverpool Habitat For Humanity has been invaluable. It's given him the opportunity to obtain the knowledge, skills and confidence required to develop skills for management and apply for Technician status of IOSH. It has also provided him with the ideal environments to obtain the evidence needed for the completion of my NVQ and more importantly confidence and experience in managing the project.
Paul's Role at LHFH:
His role includes programming build tasks to the program of works, motivating staff & volunteers to build to a scheduled timeframe. This dual role allowed him to, when required offer training and guidance to volunteers on the construction project. In addition to this he covers for the Construction Manager over the holiday periods.
