Charity Makes Ownership Dream a Reality
Liverpool Habitat for Humanity (LHFH) is building 32 three-bedroom homes on just over two acres of land donated by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese in Kingsley Road, Toxteth. Drummers and singers gathered at the site to celebrate the completion of Phase 1 of the project, the first in the North West and the UK's largest.

Homes Built by the Community for the Community
As you all may be aware, Liverpool Habitat for Humanity experienced quite a tragic attack in the wee hours of Thursday morning. The timber frames of the first three houses on Kingsley Road went up in flames and our security guard beaten up.

Jimmy Carter Work Project 2003
Three volunteers from Liverpool traveled to LaGrange to join former President and Jimmy Carter, and his wife Rosalynn, to build houses. The team members were Dr Shannon Ledbetter, Pro Torkington and Marie Kearney.
